See you in the Spring!

Each Thanksgiving our family like many others reflect on the many things that we are thankful for. During this special time, we find ourselves paying close attention to the many relationships and partnerships that fostered success and a sense of community togetherness. Now that our 2012 Season has concluded, our family would like to take this time to personally thank you for your support of our family business and our family values over the last year. While we worked hard to earn your trust and your patronage, you worked just as hard to show your support of local agriculture and a local farm family. Our Community Supported Agriculture Partners, our Plow to Plate Partners, our Team Members, our Community Partners, and our Loyal Customers, and Friends have demonstrated a true commitment to our family and our farming operation. We are very grateful and realize that each of our partners have established a firm foundation for our business and give us the motivation to acheive future innovations. We wish you a very special Holiday Season and thank you for friendship!

Chef David from the Hyatt Chesapeake Bay Resort returns on Sundays to "wow" the crowd with his charming personality and his sincere appreciation of LOCAL food. Chef David's menus for November will begin preparing his audience for the upcoming Thanksgiving Holiday. You won't want to miss Chef David's November demonstrations! They are scheduled for Sunday Nov 4th & 18th.

The Fall Season is BEAUTIFUL at Emily's!
 
The colors are vibrant, the scenery is perfect, the smells are tempting and the experience is family friendly!  Emily's Produce makes the most of each season, but the Fall Season is when it all comes together for an experience that will leave you with fond memories of picking out the perfect pumpkin or enjoying that traditional fall treat!  We are making apple dumplings, apple pies, sweet potato biscuits, pumpkin rolls and more for the Fall Harvest Season!  Join us each Sunday at 12:30 for Emily's "Growing Community Flavors" event!  You will learn how to enjoy the great flavors of the Fall Season by our valued "Plow to Plate" partners!

What could be better than stopping in your LOCAL produce market and buying some of summer's best products while witnessing some of Fall's most fun treasures?  At Emily's Produce,  you will find excitement in the air!  Our pumpkins "peaking" out from the U-Pick Patch and we have already been in our pumpkin fields at the farm picking some prize pumpkins to show you what the Fall Season will look like at Emily's!  Our Milo Maze is now open and our Corn Hole tables are ready for some good old fashion family fun!  Fresh picked LOCAL tomatoes, sweet corn, peaches, watermelons, apples, plums, squashes, lettuce, broccoli, cabbage, sweet potatoes, and more are waiting for you to enoy!  Don't forget to pick up on of our "fresh from the kitchen" goodies too!  Peach Cobblers, Apple Dumplings, Apple Pies, Cinnamon Buns, and more coming from the oven this fall!!

Growing Community Flavors



When:   EVERY Sunday Starting August 26th
Where:  Emily's Produce - 2206 Church Creek Rd. Cambridge, MD
Time:    12:30 to 1:30pm

~Visit Emily's Produce every Sunday through Thanksgiving to learn how to prepare those fresh from the field fruits and vegetables grown by your LOCAL farmer. Our chef friends from the Hyatt Chesapeake Bay Resort will be arriving at the market at 12:00pm to select seasonal products that are most enjoyed by Emily's Produce consumers and they will then remain on-site to provide live cooking demonstrations from 12:30-1:30pm.  Your talented chefs from the Hyatt look forward to sharing their culinary knowledge with the community and answering questions about preparing fresh and local products~

Free refreshments will be provided to those in attendance
